One of the benefits of being part of the Chingford Academies Trust is that South Chingford  Year11 students have priority access to our 6th form provision based at our Nevin Drive site, Chingford Foundation School. 

The Nevin Drive 6th form is academically successful and has a reputation for delivering a high quality education. 

During the summer holiday of 2020 our Trust invested in fantastic new facilities.  The 6th form space was fully refurbished and we have received unanimously positive feedback from students on the new 'look and feel' of the provision. A contemporary, fresh and attractive resource, the new facility boasts two glass collaboration rooms with fully interactive ICT, digital information display boards, an extensive study area with ICT station points, a dedicated 6th form food servery, a team room, dining space, soft furnished and stepped social spaces and access to an attractive and sunny courtyard area. 

We run a very successful transition programme into the 6th form for our high attaining students. This includes presentation talks and tours with the Head of 6th form, experience days and taster lessons at the Nevin Drive site, opportunities to  meet and speak with current students and alumni, summer study packages and bespoke pre-6th Careers Interviews with our dedicated Trust lead for Careers.
