Imani Jacca-Campbell Achieves Karate Black Belt After Years of Dedication
Imani Jacca-Campbell began her karate journey at the age of five when she joined Olympic Karate Inc at their Chingford club, based at the Paradox Centre. What started as an introduction to self-defence quickly developed into a passion, following her first competition at UCL Sports Dock when she was just six years old.
Over the years, Imani has shown outstanding dedication and commitment to her training, supported by coaches who consistently encouraged her development. Through karate, she has built discipline, resilience, and confidence, skills that have supported her both in and beyond school life.
Working towards her black belt proved to be a challenging and humbling experience. The process involved both written coursework and practical assessments, testing not only her technical ability but also her understanding and perseverance. Achieving her black belt marked the reward for many years of hard work and determination.
Imani now plans to continue her karate journey by helping to support classes while further developing her own skills. Her achievement reflects the value of long-term commitment and the positive impact of sport on personal development.
