Get set to make a change

YEAR 10 STUDENTS  ATTEND THE LONDON "GET SET TO MAKE A CHANGE  " ROADSHOW

On Monday 21st October 2013 a group of our Year 10 students were lucky enough to be invited to attend the London " Get Set To Make A Change " Roadshow and to work alongside students from approximately thirty other London Schools.

Students Ath'e Zihle, Billy Wigg, Charlie Wigg, Rory Bain, and Kia Barrett-Cartey relived the excitement and spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and thought about various ways in which they can help to re-create some of that excitement and use it to make a positive change in their community.

By the end of the day the students came away with some imaginative and fun ideas and made a pledge to do something big or small that will help to make our community a healthier, more active and more positive place to live, work and learn. Watch this space to see how their ideas and plans come to fruition!

Below are some photos of the students thinking hard about ideas for their pledge and enjoying holding the Olympic torches.

Well done all.
