Cross Country squad represent school in style

The KS3 Cross Country team represented the the school fantastically well on a chilly Friday morning with some exceptional performances and no less than 6 athletes getting selected for the Waltham Forest Squad selected to participate at Parliament Hill in November. Year 7 had a full squad with Brigitta, Daniel and Chantae coming in the Top 10.

The performance of the day belonged to our national swimmer Joe Freeman, who transferred all his aerobic endurance in the pool to the field, not only being the first year 8 boy, but coming fourth overall in the year 8/9 combined race - a monumental effort.

Well done to all those below who participated and to Mr Mullon and Mr Kirby for taking time out to ensure the students accessed this event.
