Chinese School gets a Rushcroft welcome!

Ronggui Junior Middle School made its way to London this week to spend a week with Rushcroft families and school on a cultural exchange programme, students from both schools were linked together for the entire week experiencing activities, trips, language lessons and cultural experiences to promote and develop our established links with Ronggui.

Set up two years ago and now bearing the fruits of the hard work by staff in cementing the programme and embedding not only our links but developing the students' knowledge of international cultural differences. Further exciting developments are in the offing for the 2013/14 academic year, including students having access to learning a new language as we have secured the funding for a full time Mandarin teacher for lower school students this forthcoming academic year. With staff exchanges again happening in September and November respectively and our students visiting Ronggui in March 2014 the programme is going from strength to strength.

Big thanks to all the staff and parents involved in the week. I'm sure you would all agree if it was not for everyone chipping in, the experience would not have hit the heights it did.
