We are delighted with this year's GCSE results, which reflect the significant progress our students have made and further strengthen the journey of improvement we are on as a school.

These outcomes are a testament to the hard work, determination and resilience shown by our students, supported by the dedication of our staff and the encouragement of families. We are particularly pleased that students have continued to make strong progress from their starting points. Assessments undertaken when students joined the school showed that every student in the cohort has improved by at least half a grade on average, demonstrating the positive impact of the education and support they have received throughout their time with us.

It is especially encouraging to see our highest-attaining students achieving exceptional results. Several students secured ten or more GCSEs at Grade 7 and above, reflecting both their commitment to academic excellence and the high expectations we hold for all learners.

Standout results included:

• Alina Miah (top performing female student) – 10 GCSEs including eight Grade 9s (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths, English Literature, Spanish) and two Grade 8s (English Language, History)
• Christian Georgiou (top performing male student) – 10 GCSEs including eight Grade 9s (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths, English Language, Geography), one Grade 8 (Spanish) and one Grade 7 (English Literature)
• Dulansa Pinto – 11 GCSEs all Grade 6 and above, with a Grade 9 in Sinhala and Grade 8s in Spanish, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
• Adam Naqvi – 10 GCSEs all Grade 6 and above, with a Grade 9 in Computer Science and five Grade 8s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Further Maths
• Hbban Yousaf – 10 GCSEs all Grade 5 and above, with a Grade 9 in Chemistry and four Grade 8s in Physics, Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science
• Edwin Kalrikari – 9 GCSEs all Grade 7 and above, with six Grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English Literature and Spanish
• Reuben Young – 9 GCSEs all Grade 6 and above, with Grade 8s in English Literature, Mathematics and Physics
• Khadeeja Latif – 9 GCSEs all Grade 6 and above, with Grade 8s in English Literature, Chemistry and Geography
• Isra Shah – 9 GCSEs all Grade 5 and above, with a Grade 8 in English Language and three Grade 7s in English Literature, Chemistry and Mathematics
• Renee Guan – 9 GCSEs all Grade 5 and above, with two Grade 8s in Chemistry and Mathematics and a Grade 7 in English Literature
• Shea Gibbs – 7 GCSEs, all at Grades 5 and 4
• Luigi Contrino-Travers – 8 GCSEs, all at Grades 5 and 4
